FInally after waiting for so long and getting 3 rejections...
Time to celebrate?

This email is a follow-up to a phone message I just left on your machine...
I hope you get that! I wanted to let you know that the admissions committee
at UC Irvine met, and we unanimously decided to make you an offer of
admission. Congratulations! These offers come out of the chair's office,
which means it takes time to get the signatures and for the paper copy to
make it to you. I wanted you to know as soon as possible.
I also wanted to encourage you to take a day this winter to come visit us to
see if UC Irvine would be a good fit for you to pursue your PhD. I think you will
find this to be an outstanding research environment.
